Is it safe to open a client's design file this way?
Your file is read on your own device by code running in your browser, and is never transmitted anywhere. Nothing is queued on a server, so there is nothing for us to keep or delete.
Can I copy colours, text, and CSS out of the design?
Yes. Select a layer and the inspector shows its size, position, and styling; the code panel has a copy button that gives you CSS — font family, size, weight, line height, letter spacing, colour, corner radius, borders, and shadows.
Can I export a frame from the file?
Yes — a single frame or layer exports as a PNG, WebP, or SVG file at 1x for free. Exporting at a larger scale, exporting many layers in one go, and PDF export are Pro features.
