Can I open a PSD file without Photoshop?
Yes. Figpea opens PSD and PSB files directly in your browser — no install, no plugin, no Photoshop licence, and no account needed to open and inspect a file.
Will it look the same as it does in Photoshop?
When you open a PSD, Figpea shows the composite image Photoshop saved into the file, so what you see on screen is what Photoshop drew — masks, effects and blending included. Once you start changing things, Figpea renders the design from the layers itself.
Can I save my changes back as a PSD?
No. Figpea opens PSD files and exports new files from them — PNG, WebP, SVG or PDF — but it never writes back to the .psd. Your original file is never changed.
Can I open a PSD mockup or template?
Yes — drop the .psd in and browse or export it. Templates usually arrive as a .zip, so unzip it first and open the .psd inside. Replacing the artwork inside a smart object isn't supported yet.
Are my files uploaded anywhere?
Never. Everything is processed locally in your browser, so your files never leave your machine — safe for NDA work.
Can I edit the design and export assets?
Yes — editing is free. Adjust layers right in the browser, then export what you need as PNG, WebP, SVG or PDF.
What about very large Photoshop documents?
Large documents are supported: Figpea opens PSB (Photoshop Large Document Format) files the same way it opens PSD files.
