How do I extract images from a PSD without Photoshop?
Open the PSD in Figpea, select the layer, group, or artboard you want in the layer tree or on the canvas, and export it. A single asset at 1x saves as a PNG, WebP, JPEG, or SVG file free of charge.
Can I export vector shapes as SVG?
Yes. Shape and path layers export as SVG, which keeps them scalable rather than flattening them into pixels. SVG export at 1x is free.
Can I export a lot of layers in one go?
Exporting several layers at once, packaging them into a ZIP, and exporting to PDF are Pro features. Exporting assets one at a time at 1x stays free and unlimited.
Can I export at 2x or 3x for high-density screens?
Exporting at any scale other than 1x is a Pro feature. There is a small per-session trial allowance so you can see the result before deciding, and every 1x export is free.
Will I get the original embedded image at its full resolution?
Two different things, worth separating. A free 1x export gives you the layer at the size it occupies in the document, saved losslessly as a PNG. Pulling out the untouched embedded original — the full-resolution image as it was placed, before the document scaled it — is original-image recovery, which is a Pro feature.
Does exporting change my PSD?
No. Figpea only ever creates new files; the PSD you opened is never written to. It is also read entirely on your own device and never uploaded.
